Level 5 - Ballybrack will remain open
We are Still Open!
Hi guys,
I am delighted to be able to let you know we are still able to continue our classes outdoors at the minute in Ballybrack.
Under Level 5:
In recognition of the impact on children and young people of restrictions, non-contact training can continue for school aged children, outdoors in pods of 15.
I am sure the restrictions announced yesterday evening were tough for everyone. We have had to shut down our second location in Blanchardstown, but I am delighted that I am able to announce that we can continue in Ballybrack, under the current restrictions.
We are aware that obviously the weather is getting colder and it is getting darker sooner. What I can say is that now we know we are able to continue outside we will be purchasing an extra gazebo to provide more shelter, as well as heaters to go under them, to hopefully help with the conditions presented to us.
I would like to say a big thanks to all of you for staying involved with us and your co-operation at the minute. It has been amazing to see everyone still involved and all the support that has come from you all, so thank you for that.
I am delighted that they have been able to recognise the value of sport in young people's lives.
With the weather changing we are making a slight change to the timetable from next week.
So from October 26th, we will be moving every class forward an hour.
Class currently on at 5:00 will move to 4:00pm and class currently at 6:00 will move to 5:00 for example in all our midweek classes. Saturday class will stay the same.
Guys we are aware that this is an extremely difficult time for everyone. We are very appreciative to everyone that has stayed with us up to this point.
We have also decided to include a zoom class in the evenings. This will be to accommodate any that may not be able to travel or would just prefer to move to online training. These classes will take place at 7:00pm
Please let us know if you would like to join zoom classes as opposed to outdoor, and we will set this up for you.
I know this is a really difficult situation for everyone, but I am glad we are able to remain open and I hope to see you all in the next couple of weeks.
