If these sound like something you’ve wanted to learn but have been unsure how, then this is the class for you!

Welcome to our Adult Introduction to Calisthenics Programmes!

Located in Ballybrack, here we will teach you how to learn new skills and move your body in new ways! Our programmes have been developed by some of Ireland’s leading Calisthenics Coaches, using guided Strength and Conditioning principles to help you develop yourself, learning elite Calisthenics Movements!

What makes our programme unique?

  • Enjoying the process! Focusing on 1% improvements each session and being guided with strength and conditioning principles, providing detailed tips on techniques and how to improve!

What Do You Get?

#1 Practical Sessions

  • Our Practical Sessions take place on a Tuesday and Thursday. These will be based on your individual goals, with small groups in each session to work with you from where you are and provide structure to get you from your current situation to your desired situation.

As the founder of Bar Monkey Calisthenics, I have gone from training by myself in a park to creating the largest calisthenics club in the country and becoming the first athlete from Ireland to compete in the WSWCF World-Cup Super Final. I understand the importance of community and the value in training with others. Our adult programmes are going to help you avoid the mistakes I made along the way and help you learn skills / movements in six minutes that took me six months!

#2 - Free Access to our App

  • You will also receive access to our app platform! Aside from the two sessions per week offering you coaching advice and specific feedback, we also give you access to our app, which will provide you with further information, training techniques and guidance.

  • This can be accessed at any time and any location! In conjunction with your coach, you can decide what movements to practice on the days you aren’t in class. Giving you more time during the sessions to focus on other areas.

  • This is also a great feature for when real life happens and you can’t attend a practical session. Your coach can advise you to work on something from the app and you can do this at any time and location!

#3 - WhatsApp | Facebook Accountability Groups

  • Every member will become part of our WhatsApp and Facebook Accountability groups. These help coaches and participants to engage together as part of a community. This is important as this will also provide accountability and help you to stay motivated, even on the days you don’t feel like it!

  • Seeing others make progress and showcasing your own helps each other see the progress we are all making as part of a group and will provide extra incentive for everyone involved to continue working!
