Camp Operating Procedures

Please make sure to read this as it contains all necessary information on how our summer camps will operate and how you can co-operate with us to help keep everyone involved in the camp safe and have an enjoyable experience!

Registration

  • You may be required to provide more information after completing the form.

  • Places cannot be held until payment is made. This is to ensure we are not withholding places for someone else that wants to sign up.

  • Upon signing up you are not paying for the session, but for the reservation of the space in the class. We cannot offer a per day rate due to the limit of numbers possible in the group sessions.

Arrival

  • Please arrive at the Coolevin entrance. The side gate that says staff entrance.

Camp Session

  • Groups will be split according to age category, 4-6, 7-10 and 11-14.

  • There will be four stations, an indoor pull-up bar, parallel bars, monkey bars and floor station, as well as the yard for outdoor activities. Each group will be split into these different areas and will rotate throughout the day.

  • Each group will be expected to stay with their coach and be capable of staying in their designated area for safety reasons.

Lunch

  • There will be breaks during the day. Please provide your child with a lunch and drink.

Equipment

  • We will be using our high bar, a set of parallel bars and floor area. We also have use of the yard for outdoor activities.

Weather

  • In the event of rain, the group will be kept indoors for the session.

Collection

  • Please arrive promptly at pick up time so that there is no cluster at the gate with the next group arriving.

  • Kids will be brought back to the area they were brought to at arrival and will wait there until someone has arrived to collect them.

If there is a failure to abide by these rules and if we feel someone is causing the camp to be unsafe we will remove the person from the camp. If we also feel there is an issue of safety on the persons behalf, in that they are unable to remain with a group or safely take instructions from the coach, then they may be also asked to leave for safety reasons.

We want to create as safe an environment as possible for all involved and if somebody is disrupting that, it is for the wellbeing of everyone else that they will be removed. Our environment may also not be suitable for certain individuals due to having to wait for turns etc when queing to have a go on the bar. If we feel the environment isn’t suitable for an individual we may recommend that they don’t complete the camp for safety reasons.

We appreciate your co-operation and look forward to welcoming you to our camps!
