We are delighted to announce the Bar Monkey End of Year Championship!
This promises to be an amazing end of year event for all members of Bar Monkey!
For the first time we will be hosting a huge variety of tournaments, and we can’t wait to see everyone get involved! More details of each event will be explained below.
The event is taking place in Cherrywood ETS from 12-4 pm.
There will be a huge amount of activity and events for ALL MEMBERS of the club and we think this is the ideal opportunity to bring everyone together and celebrate all things Bar Monkey!

7-10 Recreational Event
Our 7-10 Recreation event is the first event of it’s kind for the club! We are inviting ALL 7-10 groups to take part. They will participate in five challenges and each group across the week will be a team within the competition (for example, Monday 7-10 class will enter the event as a team) . The team that obtains the most points through the five challenges will be crowned as the Bar Monkey Team of the Year!
This is a fun event and aimed to give the entire club a purpose, something to train towards and create a team environment within the classes over the next couple of weeks, seeing them cheer each other on and feel as though they are working as a collective unit to achieve something.
The timetable for this event will be spread out across the day and we will inform each individual class the time of their event. A PDF version can also be found below.
11-14 (1:00pm) and Level Two (2:00pm) Freestyle - Male&Female
Our 11-14 and Level Two Freestyle Competitions will have both male and female categories this year! These are both separate categories and we are so excited to have this level of representation within the club competing! A huge well done to everyone involved.
Each participant will be performing a Two Minute routine and for the vast majority this is their first event so I know they will appreciate as many people as possible attending and we hope you can make it to offer support!
Advanced Freestyle
This promises to be an amazing display of Calisthenics skills from the athletes involved! We can’t wait for this group to showcase their ability and everything that is amazing about the sport!
This group promise to excite and inspire our other members and we can’t wait to see them perform on the day! For all our other members this really should be an event to turn up for, to see the levels they can aspire to get to!
